Joining the Association of LGBTQ+ Alumni lets students build meaningful connections before graduation. As a student member, you can access the Pathways to Pride mentorship program, professional networking, and year-round events (in person and virtual). Connecting with LGBTQ+ Gators and allies helps you build your professional network and leverage their connections as you launch your career.
Access to activities and programs dedicated to our community
Throughout the year, the Association of LGBTQ+ Alumni hosts a wide range of events aimed at fostering community and building Gator Pride. Some of our events include our annual “Orange, Blue, and All of You” Gator Pride Gala, the National Coming Out Day Panel, opportunities for community service, and our monthly movie showings.
Opportunities to give/receive support as a student
Your membership with the Association of LGBTQ+ Alumni allows you to support your fellow students. Through our fundraising and networking events, you can give back to UF’s LGBTQ+ community and their allies by supporting our scholarship program. Students can also apply for one of our scholarships (we award them every semester).
Exclusive Membership Pricing for Students
The standard price for an alumni Life Membership is $680. By purchasing the student rate of $280, a student saves $400 compared to the alumni price (a discount of roughly 59%). If choosing the 12-month payment plan of $24 per month, the total paid comes to $288 ($24 × 12), which is an extra $8 over the upfront $280 student price, but still offers a savings of $392 off the standard alumni rate.
